With over 20 years in food industry, Chef “X” – Attapol Naito Thangthong – is an Executive Chef at Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse as well as the captain of the gold-medal winning Thai national team at The Culinary World Cup 2014, following with Marriott Global Chef of the Year in 2018.

From mechanic by trade to a devoted chef by profession
เชฟเอ็กซ์ เปลี่ยนเส้นทางชีวิตจากนักเรียน ปวส.สายช่างกลเข้าสู่วงการอาหารจาก “แรงบันดาลใจรสมือของแม่” เนื่องจากรู้ตัวเองว่ามีความถนัดในเรื่องการทำอาหาร จึงตัดสินใจสมัครเรียนทำ อาหารระยะสั้น 3 เดือน ที่วิทยาลัยดุสิตธานี เรียกว่าเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการเข้าสู่วงการอาหาร
Inspired by his mother’s family recipes, Chef X’s career was pivoted from a vocational student to culinary profession. Once the true passion was found, he decided to begin his culinary journey by enrolling in the 3-month course at Dusit Thani College in Bangkok.

สำหรับแรงบันดาลใจในการทำอาหารของเชฟเอ็กซ์นั้น แต่ละเมนูอาหารที่ปรุงขึ้นมานั้น ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากความทรงจำในวัยเยาว์และประสบการณ์ต่างๆที่เคยพบเจอ แม้ว่าหน้าตาของเมนูอาหารที่เชฟเอ็กซ์ปรุงขึ้นมานั้นอาจจะดูไม่ใช่อาหารไทย แต่เรื่องรสชาตินั้นยังคงไว้ ซึ่งรสชาติแบบดั้งเดิมอร่อยแบบไทยแท้แน่นอน
